Extending your UK visa

If you don’t want your UK study experience to end just yet, you may be able to extend your student visa if you entered the UK with a Tier 4 Student Visa (not as a Student Visitor). You’ll need to prove that you have a place on a UK course and enough money to pay fees and everyday living costs.
